Hi ! my name is Duku. A Star wars and Japanse animated Cartoon/ Manga fan. (I also like Final Fantasy, but have not played a game since late 2003).

I don't really know if I am diagnosed with AS, although I was, 10 years ago diagnosed by a specialist to bear very similar traits to the AS...

Glad to join your board (I don't know if there are any older members, but I, personnally will turn 27 in 3 months).

Although I signed in as "Duku", inasmuch as I love this character, he is not My Favorite, as I Prefer, Yoda, Palpatine (Sidious) and Grievous by Far. Unfortunately, I could not sign in with Grievous and Yoda as one has already taken these names ! ! :wink: (and AS I signed in as Duku, I did not want to sign in as Palpatine again)

Suilad, Duku and welcome to WP! There are a lot of older folks around here... and I'm sure at least one or two of them will find this thread or find something else you post/have posted. The age range around here is pretty good (the youngest members are kids, several people are teens and in their twenties and we have several who are older than that).

If you like Star Wars and Manga, be sure to check out the Arts and Crafts forum if you haven't already.

Thank you very much for your reply ! And, I without fail will gladly drop-by the "Arts and Crafts section of the Forum :-)

I so happen to be myself a moderator (recently upgraded though, after some 6 years within the community, and 3 years in the actual version) of a French "Japanese Manga and Anime" forum.

PS: Do note that I am very happy to know that THERE ARE older, (and of course wiser) members in the WP community ... :wink:
(Indeed it is very easy to track messages in a forum, or just by chance to spot mine...) :-)

Welcome, Duku: What a minute! Isn't he a bad guy!! Why are we welcoming him!

I'm 10 years your senior and I don't even like Star Wars or Dune or StarGate or the newer Star Trek, (only the old). And I am sure that I am in the minority. In fact, a singular minority.

I enjoy Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Chronicles of Amber, and now I don't have time for pleasure reading, only reading for information.

I have not been diagnosed with anything, except for mild depression (which is inacurate; I'm not depressed, I'm just anti-social). My 12 year old son is AS. I have really enjoyed this site and all of the info. I've recieved here. There's alot of "characters" here that you will enjoy.

Unfortunately, as I first signed up my first choice "Yoda" was taken... So as "Grievous". My third choice was Between Sidious/ Palpatine, and Duku, and I Finally chose Duku... (even though I am more of a Jedi... Hence "very much in tune with the force" !
