Greetings to all on WrongPlanet! I am Ben (or Benjamin or Benji, but you may NOT call me "Benny"). I am 34 and live in Lincoln, Nebraska, and live with an 8-year old domestic shorthair named Silke (she's the one with the fur and the catbox). I attend Christ's Place Assemblies of God Church here in town, but am not especially "devout". I have a twin named John. I took the Minnesota Multi-Phasic Inventory (MMPI), and my therapist told me that many of my responses fit the description of someone with mild Aspergers, but I do not necessarily see that as an official "diagnosis". I am looking to build close relationships with others of a Non-Neurotypical orientation, and will probably join an Aspie support group here in town. I am quite glad this online group exists for those of us who feel often irretrievably lost in this Neurotypical universe. Oh, and by the way, I am also interested in meeting a young lady who shares my Aspie orientation! But I am here primarily to build friendships and understanding with you all, whether single or otherwise. Glad to meet you all!

Sorry can't help you out on meeting a young lady. My wife tells me I'm not and probably wouldn't approve even if I dressed in a skirt. (she'd probably take pictures and blab it on the net though :oops: )

Thanks for the kind greetings! Like I said, just meeting cool people and discussion is my primary motivation for joining, and from the looks of it, I think I will get more than my fill of both!
