Howdy. I have suffered from depression and social anxiety for most of my life. I am now 24. I started seeing a new psychiatrist a couple months ago and from one session he is certain I have aspergers. Because I live in a rural area I haven't been able to see him again yet but I am on a waiting list to see an autism specialist. I'm not sure how long this will take.
At first I felt relief to know I have aspergers. But then I began to doubt whether I had it or not so I made the appointment to see a specialist.
I have huge problems socialising with people. I thought I should sign up to this site to get to know other aspies. It took me a lot of time just to build up the courage to make this post. 
I have been smoking marijuana for several years. I feel it is really messing me up. my interests have dwindles into nothing. I find it very difficult to quit as I live with and care for my father who smokes weed all the time and gives it to me frequently. I was wondering if any other aspies here smoke marijuana and how it effects them? Also, if any one has any advice how to quit it I will welcome it.
