Hey, I have Asperger's syndrome, I have been diagnosed for along time now, my mom didn't tell me till I was quite a bit older (like young teens) I wish I would have known as early as possible, right now I am 17 5/6 years old, I've always been a bit strange and I never fit in at school around the beginning of highschool I started becoming super self conscious when I fell in love (still am in love with the same girl after almost 4 years) and I have had trouble getting over my shyness, I am finaly beginning to get better at speaking out loud, and I'm getting more comfterbal opening up to people, but I've begun to notice why I was never talkitive throughout my life, I never much had a desire to talk, I notice people talk and what there talking about, I'd reather not talk about, it feels like I'm wasting my time, very rarly can I connect to people in that way, now online I can talk to people alot about my interests because of forums, which people share interests, I have picked up a very unusual interest and it has become a obssession, it's called lucid dreaming and it's a very wonderful hobby to master, it alows you to do almost anything and enjoy almost any activity in your own dreams (which can be trained to be life like in vividy) well lucid dreaming basicly means aware your dreaming well your dreaming, and I might make a post about it if anyone seems interested, i really don't know if any of you will share interests with me they seem so diffrent and unusual, but they may have similaritys I'm interested to learn, I could go on, but I'm not going to turn this into something nobody wants to spend the time reading.

Welcome Jondalar,

Lucid dreaming is a subject of great interest to me. I wish to have better control, lazy sleeper, fail to act, just watch. I have been there often enough, a whole other level of dreams.

I do think it a great thread idea. We have a divirsity of brains about, some things are rarely mentioned, unless someone asks.

I have been writing about the subject.

Really, I guess some people really do share my interests, I would love to make a thread about it, but I'm unsure where to post it, there should be a special interest forum someplace, I would like to see that.

I'm trying to learn as much about lucid dreaming as possible, I'm trying to master the WILD technique using visual based induction, I think some people at this forum would be great at that, and I'm interested in seeing how aspergers are at lucid dreamign I had a pretty good ability but bad control like you, I know a few masters and a few highly motivated people on the subject.

G'day Jondalar. I used to take Vitamin B6 as a dietary supplement, and found that I remembered dreams much more clearly while taking it.

Welcome Jondalar!
I look forward to your thread on lucid dreaming. I read a story in NationalGeographic about Burmese boys being taught to not run from tiger dreams, but to turn and conquer it. I was able to stop a repetitive nightmare when about age 5 by using that information.
