I predict we'll get some fascinating answers from this bit of stupidness...

If you could challenge anybody in the world (living or dead) to a game of your choosing -- sport, video game, board game, whatever -- whom would you choose, and what game would you play? Be creative!

Me... I would so destroy Kurt Vonnegut in badminton.

Napolean in basketball. That was the first thing that popped into my head.

And Einstein in chess, just because it's a predictable response.

I'd challenge Jane Austen to a game of Rummikub, or JRR Tolkien to LOTR trivial Pursuit, movie version

Is this like MTV's infamous Celebrity Deathmatch? It was a clamation show with famous people (including dead people who were brought to the present through a time machine) to fight eacher until the other is vanquished. I don't watch MTV, but I have seen my sister watching it, and it actually can be funny! (Who would have thought MTV, the fount of all evil, could produce humor?)

That show was so funny. I haven't seen it in so long, but the one fight I can still remember was the one between Alex Trebek and Pat Sajak. It was in the form of a mixture of their games where when you correctly answered a question (NOT questioned an answer), you got to spin the wheel. Whatever it landed on was how you got to hurt your opponent. Sajak won because Trebek kept answering in the form of a question :D

That sounds like a funny one. Was Bob Barker ever involved in a Celebrity Deathmatch?

As for who I'd challenge...er...I'll get back to you on that! :D

EDIT: To answer my own question - Bob Barker apparently took on Anne "Weakest Link" Robinson in the ring. There's another one I'd like to see.

Not a real Deathmatch, but would you count Barker against Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore?

I would like to wrestle (amatuer wrestling, not that TV stuff) Karl Rove in a superheavyweight match. I would have to gain 30/40 odd pounds, but it would be worth it.
