Anything by the Marx Brothers(Harpo was my favorite)..I love Night at the Opera at the end where Harpo climbs all the way up the stage curtain in fast forward motion, I never saw that coming..hilarious! Little Rascals, 3 stooges, W.C.Fields, Charlie Chaplin.....they were pioneers in the field of comedy, they never needed cursing, sex, or violence to make us laugh, like the studios today think we need to see.........I'm glad the writers are on strike, they write garbage, utter garbage........

Lately, "Inventor" has been getting the most laughs outta me.

SOPHISTICATED physical comedy: like Charlie Chaplin and Harold Loyd, and Buster Keaton, the Marx Brothers.
The people who say physical comedy is crude and simpleminded haven't seen REAL acrobats at work.
I also love the old Donald Duck and Goofy cartoons. If you watch those old Goofy cartoons, like The Art of Skiing, How to Golf, and How to Swim, they're a lot more classy and stylish than anything that's made today. People say, "Aw, well that's just cartoons for kids." I say, "Suit yourself. It has more wit and intelligence than anything made for 'adults' ".

The Mighty Boosh
Flight Of The Conchords (their standup is far funnier than the TV series, I love both though)
Scrubs
... most British comedy. Stephen Fry is a legend. QI, 9 out of 10 cats etc.

I have noticed the Simpsons losing momentum the last couple of seasons. I think last season only had momentum because it was in anticipation of the Simpsons Movie.

Other than that, South Park and Family Guy are my favorites.

I think the new South Park episodes are really funny, and I liked Team America. I do like Family Guy, but its inconsistent, one episode i'll watch and think "what the hell was that?", but then i'll watch another and it is amazing.
