Hello, salutations, and all that.

I'm a fellow who's down on his luck, and has been having more than a few issues and even major problems, some of them in relation to the interesting condition known as Aspergers. Which I indeed have been diagnosed with perhaps close to eight years ago or so.

It's good to see a place dedicated to this.. I could use the community insight and views of those with similiar issues.

As for about myself..

I'm one of those unfortunate souls at the bottom of the ladder in society and living, but I'm trying to work my way up. I have many interests, most of them being eccentric, everything from WWII and classical warfare to sci-fi and fantasy to electronics to anime and video games. I'm quite into drawing and writing, although my success at both is varyingly low.

I'm going through quite a rough patch right now, so this is an odd time for me to join a new community.. But, one aspect of that was the fact that I had mostly forgotten about my very condition, and in a very harsh way was reminded of my difference. A quick run to Wikipedia brought it all flooding back, and I saw the link for this site there..

Anyway, here I am.

Hello, Huckelbein. It really isn't such an odd time for you to be joining us here. Being with people who have many of the same issues as you can be very therapeutic. I've found the members here to be very supportive and kind to those who are down or looking for answers. I hope you find the same.

Factual: 99.99999% of the people on these forums are supportive and cool, and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we hope we can provide some good advice-stuff if you post a topic
