Hello everyone. I'm a 21 year old nt girl with an Aspie boyfriend. We've been together for a few years now, and neither of us knew he had AS until a year into the relationship. So I'm wanting to learn a lot. Hope to gain and give some understanding while I'm here. It's very nice to talk with you all and hear your ideas.

Something about myself. I'm a psychologly major in my last year at uni. I am going to attend grad school.I love movies that are dark, thoughtful, and fun wth good character development. I find good scripts and characters are essential to a good movie. Can't stand action and romantic movies, though. I could go on and on talking about film, I jsut love the art of film making. But I wont do that here, dont mean to bore you.I like music, particularly rock. I'm interested in how society works, taking it abaout and understanding reasons behind everything, especially why we view mutltitudes of things the way we do. I like video games, particularly tomb raider and donkey kong. I am quiet, although I hate when people tell me that, or make an issue of it . I like puppies. i like stopping to feel things mentally, especially outdoors. I love comedy (but not comedic movies becuase they are usually not funny :/). I like looking at clothing and actually getting something that looks good on me, but I hate the mall and being in places with a lot of younger people. I was very quiet in high school, there were days I would get by without saying anything at all. For the most part I wasn't bothered by it. Alright, that's enough. Hope to see you around.

Your boyfriend is an aspie, well seems like your get along just fine. Reading about you, you could easily almost be on the spectrum yourself! can relate to a lot of what you say about yourself.

I was only diagnosed recently 6 months ago and I'm now in my 40's, good luck with your search for you / and or your partner, you should find all the answers to your questions here.

Ana- I can honestly say you wont regret getting in psychology. if you really like it, every class is interesting and fun. My favorite classes have been about human learning, abnormal psychology, and social psychology. Experimental is fun too.
