Just signed up for the forums here after discovering this site last night, as well as first learning about Asperger's last night.

I'm 23 and have been residing in the southern californian city of Riverside for the past 18 years. I was diagnosed as having ADD when I was 5, but now I'm considering that I may also have Asperger's instead or as well as having ADD. I work at Toys R Us as a seasonal employee at the moment, selling video games to soccer moms.

Just a question...what exactly is a "soccer mom"? I have heard that term used a lot, but have no clue as to what it is.

ADD/ADHD often goes hand-in-hand with aspergers. You may have both.

Me!

It's an adult woman who drives either a minivan or an SUV and whose "social" life consists largely of supporting her child's activities, either by driving them to and from their activities, watching said activities, buying equipment necessary for their activities, etc.

No, it is a 3 1/2 pound baby who was ready to go home with his parents. He was the smallest person I'd ever seen who was completely healthy and competent to live at home, so I took a picture.

My husband asked if he was planning to go home in the cup-holder, because he would have fit!
