Hello everyone, im 18 years old and was recently diagonised with having asperger's. I enjoy geography of all kinds, countries, their flags, different cultures, stats about them, physical feature like rivers and islands, and i love looking at and making maps. I also love politics and the ideals, beliefs and decisions of parties and people. For enjoying learning about the planets and the world's people, i dont seem to interact and express myself around people without seeming out of place. I work at a pizzeria, which i hate but tolerate, the noise, people u have to pretend to like and so forth, but i need to something with myself. I also enjoy sports, reading and listening to music, usually stuff others my age tend not to listen too. I have what i consider two "friends" that have learned to except me outside the mandatory settings, and vice verse, but they seem to be moving on with there lives. I hope next year to go to university to study Geographic information science( if i can survive the social jungle), which is using computers to analyze data, maps, geographic information for a variety of different fields and uses.

I apologize for rambling, i just wasnt sure how to start it out. theres more i sure i should say if u ask, i probably can tell. ive read other peoples start, and they are kinda of like this, but if theres stuff i should say, well im not sure, i'm trying :)

Hello koolguy18,

welcome to WP.

I just have to say this...I would never work at a pizzeria! I can't say that I understand how hard it is to work there because I never have...but I sure can imagine!

I hope you enjoy posting here.

Hi koolguy18. Welcome to WP. I hope you like it here. :)

I'm into geography myself - the world is a fascinating place isn't it? I should buy myself a map of some kind. :)

Of course you are, Tim.

Congrats, koolguy, you definitely have a lot in front of you: college, an interesting major, and surely a rewarding career.
