Hi,

I'm the mum of an eight year old boy who has recently been diagnosed with Asperger's. His psychologist believes I probably have it as well.

I am obsessed with grammar. I constantly have to hold myself back from storming into shops and informing the manager/owner that their advertising has such-and-such an error on it. Oh, dear.....

My son is an avid Doctor Who fan, as am I (to a lesser degree, although as a child I was obsessed with Space: 1999 and Star Trek.....sigh....those ears....).

My poor NT hubby!

Another Aussie (or at least Australian resident) who likes Doctor Who. Does your son enjoy the classic or new series?

He's only seen the new series, and has only just expressed an interest in getting to know the 'classic doctors'. He wants, quite logically, to start at William Hartnell. Luckily some shops here get the box set of WH episodes, so we will have to start adding to our already growing set of DW DVDs!

I used to be majorly obsessed with the classic series, but my interest faded, until the revival of the series.

Nothing wrong with liking Dr Who.

Suggest you don't start watching the classics with William Hartnell as your boy may find them a bit slow...
