Well um saying hi 
First I guess I never heard of Asperger's Syndrome till about last week. Kind of odd but my grandfather dying just recently (mother's side) was how my Mum found out about AS. My mum's brother is similar to me, but even more introverted and socially inept. Also dislikes loud music or such. He's never been diagnosed but a Family friend married to a doctor thinks it probably is AS. So anyway Ive got a referal to a psychologit and should have a first meeting in a couple of weeks.
Seeing as I love knowledge the first thing I did after hearing about this was look it up on the net and found this site, among others
I read that people with AS have a hard time with humour and sarcasm. I must be lucky in that regard. After school I sort of figured "people call each other names and stuff all the time, it must be normal". I started to learn humour, although it took a while to learn the limits of how far you can go and when. Now I can give lightning fast comebacks most of the time
I also read people with AS usually "sync" with someone and focus on it a lot. I guess for me that would be gaming. I really get involved in games, currently its World of Warcraft (lol ask me about balance druids!). Im also interested in general science, especially biology and chemistry. Also how the mind works, it baffles me how electrical signals buzzing around cells can store memory! Also anime.
