Hi! My name is Sue and I was a special education teacher for eleven years. I recently took a job as a special education advocate for a non-profit agency that promotes independence for people with developmental disabilities. However, all of this did not lead me here. I became interested in wrongplanet when I noticed that my boyfriend can not handle certain issues and I started to look at the coorelation between his "quirks" if you may, and the diagnosing criteria of Asperger's Syndrome. I did feel that I fit right in when I noticed the opening blurb inviting people on the spectrum and also people with ADHD and ADD. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 26 years old. So, I guess this is the right place. Either way I am learning strategies for my professional and my personal life!
