Hey Claire! Welcome to the group.

If you feel confortable, you might tell us more about yourself...what your interests are, if you are in school or work, whatever!

Again, welcome.

A little more about myself

I live with my parents and younger brother in County Durham which is in the North East of England.
I have a vast range of hobbies and interests including reading, writing, music and animation. My interest in animation first began when I was 5 years old and first saw the film version of Watership Down (if you haven't seen this film it is about a group of rabbits who leave their warren after one of them has a vision of the warren's distruction) it is a beatuifullly animated film and it was made in the days before CGI was about so every scene in the film is hand-drawn. Aside from Watership Down my other favourite types of animation are cartoons from the 80s and 90s mainly because this the era that I used to watch cartoons on a Saturday morning when I was a kid and WWII proganda mainly cos it is interesting and not many people talk about or know about it. I also write and illustrate my own novels but I have not sent any away to try and get published because I do not know if other people will like them.
I work part-time in a local DIY store it is a good job in the sense that dealing with the customers and they're enquiries helps me improve my social skills but sometimes having to socially interact with people can be tiring this is why I mainly work part-time.

Hello Claire :) Welcome to WP.

I like the political cartoons in newspapers. In the "Independent" they always have funny cartoons of George Bush, Tony Blair, or Michael Howard. Being a left-winger, I love them because they take the piss no end.

Welcome, Claire. I used to work in retail stores as well, and sometimes found the social aspect both helpful and tiring, as you do.
