Hello everyone, I'm new here. I haven't been diagnoses with AS but have thought it might be a possibility for a couple of years. First I suffered from depression, then another psych thought it was bipolar II and then... So I don't know. I just know I've always been odd, and I've been picked on more than my fair share of times. I've read the descriptions and some of it fits but I want to know what it feels like to be AS. Then perhaps I can figure it out from there. So hi. Nice to meet everyone.

Bipolar II? the Sequel?...
Welcome. Browse around the forums, and if you start saying 'yeah, me too' a lot, it's a good possibility. Also, google Aspergers and see what the symptoms are. That's what got me here...

Inventor... I wear the same shoes almost every day so perhaps it's time for a new pair? Most of the time I even put them on the right feet too!
Bipolar II, not so rambunctious or flamboyant as the original, this sequel seems almost an afterthought. I can't say I liked Bipolar the movie so I won't recommend part deux. Avoid it if at all possible.
I've been in and out of psychiatrist and therapists offices for over half my life with no clear answers, a few different diagnoses, and no real sense of peace or understanding. I saw Mozart and the Whale last week and the wheels started turning so I decided to investigate.
Anywayz, much of what I see here fits and I'm not sure how I feel about that. on the one hand it's a possible explanation for why I've been "different" all my life but there are all sorts of implications that I'd need to work through. Lions and Tigers and Bears and rotting casserole in the fridge and all dat. Bottom line is that it means I'm odd in most peoples eyes and there's not much to be done. Just the way it is, it is. So thanks for the welcome everyone.
Yeah I might be AS, something else, or even a phlartaxian from a backwater solar system in the vicinity of the cocoon nebula.
