Hello everyone,

This is Anna, from Oklahoma, diagnosed AS in the summer of 2007 I happen to be married to another probable Aspie and we have one cat-child. I work in academia at a job I love but get paid peanuts. Academia is a great place for folks like us, I've found. The only frustrating part is dealing with co-workers who do not know they are on the spectrum. Life would be much easier for everyone if they would get a deeper understanding of their neurology.

What else? I knit, bake, sew, read all the time, blog, and go hiking.

Thanks for the correction on the year...I've been working so hard to train myself out of writing 2007 on everything!

My kitty is 13 years old, very well-loved.

...and I am 28.

Can you tell I'm at work and distracted??

I misread your initial post as "I happen to be married to another portable Aspie..."

My user name came from this joke my husband loves:

"What are you eating under there?"

"Under where?"

"You're eating underwear!?!"

So, UnderThere is a catch phrase for many things for us. I even chose it for my new Etsy shop.
