i just joined and i recently started reading about AS and thought someone must have had a hidden camera on me my whole life and described what they saw!

the awkward feeling definitely applies and the hardest thing for me has been trying to make people that care about me understand that i need to be alone and it doesnt have anything to do with them!

my whole interaction with social people has felt like i was 'faking it' the trade off for me seems to be (ironically) a great understanding of people and of psychology (from the time i was 5) and a really keen introspection and i find im typically very honest with myself about myself.
thanx to this i have been very good at faking it and by the time i was out of high school i could talk to anyone and get them to like me but just a few years before that it was the opposite, the constant feeling of being naive was always in the way. i felt like whole world had given in to some temptation and corrupted itself long ago and i was the last one left like me!

im so happy to discover that im not the last one!

also i would like to add that when i listen to a song its like im looking at a unique and weird room and every song is like its own room but as indescribable as 4 dimensional space

then again considering the others on this site, perhaps indescribability is dependent on its receiver?

Welcome...I like the book Illussions better but I dont think it was a very good idea for a very literal aspie teenager to read it,sort of messed with...Did you know the author was raised as a Christian Scientist but was kicked out of the church for writing that book?(At least that is what my mother told me and surely she wouldn't lie?)
