Hello all.

This is my first post. My 16 year old son has Asperbergers. Actually I suspect I also have the disorder but have not been officially diagnoised. My doctor has perscribed the same medication he takes but in a smaller dose.

Sometimes it seems that this disease pretty much dominates our household. I am so very pleased and blessed to have found this website. A friend from another political forum I post at turned me on to wrongplanet and I look forward to learning more about all this.

Aspergers isn't a disease, it's not contagious. [but is genetic]

Welcome Jeff, a piece of advice; you might wanna avoid the term "disease" some of the people here will take it personal. Don't much mind myself, but there is no reason to step on somebodys toes right?
