Greetings folks, I've been lurking on this excellent forum for a number of months, but like most things in life, it takes me a while to take the plunge and give it a go!
I'm in my early 30's now, and was diagnosed with Aspergers a couple of years ago. I function pretty well in the big wide world, although socially I'm largely a non starter, which was the reason I went and sought help, which led me on a journey (via the NAS) to seek some answers about why I am like I am.
I'm very impressed by the excellent and varied discussions that take place on these forums, and hopefully I can join in and take part ; it will be the most social life I have!

Anyway, I won't waffle on anymore, just wanted to say hello.

Hello back to you all, thanks for the warm welcome. Sorry it's taken me a while to reply.

Tequila, I'm a Worcestershire boy. And gbollard, I chose that picture partly because I do love Sid James' characters in all the Carry On films (not sure about him in real life) plus that picture was from a Christmas card I was given once.
I have to add that in my life I act the complete opposite to Sid James!

Yes, we do have varied discussions here...I was impressed by it, too when I first arrived here. Now there are more than 8000 new members since i've joined and the discussion is twice as great as it was before.
