Yet another introduction thread

Hi everyone, I found this website through the wikipedia article about aspergers and hope to have some insightful discussions with "similar" people here, since I sometimes feel somewhat alienated by most of the people that I know in reality. Although I have not been diagnosed, since I really don't see a point in knowing, whether or not I _formally_ am an aspie, I strongly suspect to have aspergers, or at least many of the main characteristics.
A bit about myself: I'm from germany, and an 18 year-old student, interested in sciences, such as mathematics and physics, programming and computers in general, and in philosophy. As it comes to religion, I would describe my self as a practical atheist, although I formally have an agnostic standpoint, but only as much as one epistemologically has to be agnostic about the content of fairy tales.(not that I want to start a discussion about this in an introduction thread, so this would not be the place to discuss this).
