I have just joined this forum. I discovered while reading the Wikipedia article on AS there is an Aspie subculture. One thing led to another and here I am.

Just a word or two about myself:

age: 72. When I was a kid there was no recognition of AS.
line of business: Software development, applied mathematics.
interests: math, physics and deflating philosophical pretentions.
hobbies: I do useful stuff such as help make books for the blind and dyslexic. I also donate a lot of platelets (I have twice the normal level of platelets in my blood).

My Mission from God is to constantly remind the Emperor that he is bare-ass naked.

I am delighted to discover there is a subculture of Aspies. Hell, this is better than joining Mensa.

Someone should have reminded Governor Eliot Spitzer that the Emperor has no clothes...as of Monday, March 17, 2008
