Hi i am new here i am glad that i found a site that deals with AS i was diagnosed in 1998 and have had quite a rough time dealing with it but i hope i have found some new friends to help me and hopefuly i can lend a hand too ! I am 27 and i live in Longmont Colorado and i am married and have a beautiful little girl

I am also married and have 2 wonderful boys, its amazing how people are the autism spectrum can actually be happy. have real families, jobs with no help - so I wonder what would happen if we all got the support and understanding we needed earlier on in life...

I agree in school i was the "weird kid" the one that no one understood or cared about i got made fun of a lot and beat up a lot but oh well thats all in the past!

I think quite a few of us were the "weird kid" at school...either that or some kind of variation of it. I was the "quiet kid who rubs her head a lot" in high school haha.
