I'm a newbie (sort of)

I joined here a several years ago but unfortunately things happened that prevented me from fully utilizing this site. I eventually forgot even my username. My life has changed a lot since then so as part of a new beginning I decided to start anew here under a different name and e-mail. If I remember my old name I shall close out that account.

Some things have not changed. Then as now I am not here to flame, bully, belittle, poke fun of, or insult. others. There is more than enough of that going on in the world anyway.

I am an older person who well remembers what life was like when I was younger. I'm married and have a son who just turned 18. He is diagnosed with Asperger's. Through him I have learned that both I and my wife are undiagnosed aspies. I have a rather unusual form that is a combination of both Asperger's and ADD.

I may occasionally try to provide advice if I feel it is relevant.

I am also physically disabled due to injuries that over time caught up with me. Fortunately my employer had a early retirement option that I was able to utilize. I dislike my physical disability worse than the Asperger's

Like you I only found out late in life I have Aspergers, my older son now 14 has been diagnosed also..
