Yes, I understand in what I've read that there have been genetic links identified, no surprise there. I'm of the opinion that some of the qualities for anyone who is not normal (average), can sometimes lead to, or come from mental illness and/or disease. I participated in ground breaking research at Columbia University, since I was 8 years old. They verified there was nothing that could indicate Asperger Syndrome, only saying that I was High Functioning, when I checked with them after my son was diagnosed at 7 years old. He's now almost 16 years old, and he started a profile here, when I got banned. It took alot for me to convince him to participate, before the hammer came down.
I've held many jobs and skills, and I'm presently a stay-at-home Mom now for many years. Indeed, life and learning about various people and what they do can be a journey in fascination! Also, it can be one of frustration and rejections, from those that won't let you in their world, for whatever reasons.
