I'm Bec and I am 17. I recently found this website and I love it. When I was 9 I was dx'ed with ADD, but my mum didn't think that was right. Over a year ago my mum discovered a book about AS and and said it was like reading my biography! So we went to the psychologist and I was dx'ed with AS. It has been about one year since then. It was actually quite a relief to put a name to my oddtities, troubles, and quirks.

By the way, this is my first time ever posting anything on a messageboard.

Just bringing up a old thread randomly to tell you your not new at all.

I feel kind of put off when I first heard about AS, like a part of me was ripped out and pasted onto a medical bulletin board.
