Hi everyone.

After procrastinating for a few weeks, I've finally decided to join.

I suspect I may have AS but I'm too old for a diagnosis to be of any use.

I think it is never to late to get diagnosed, I was diagnosed at a age 41 in July 2004.

Thanks for the welcome.

I'll take the diagnosis under consideration. The problem I see is that until recently I have coped pretty well (ie appeared normal).
The two medical professionals I've talked to so far have either:
a. Laughed
b. Didn't care

I myself didn't even know about Asperger's until I got diagnosed with it.

It has been eye opening for me, now I can yet understand why I am the way I am.

I truly hope the the Wrong Planet gives You some understanding into Asperger's Syndrome.

Even I coped pretty well myself until lately.

You just may need to find the right doctor to understand You.
