Hi, my name is Dennis and I am new to Wrong Planet. I'm a pastor (without a call right now) and I also work full time as a web designer.

I've wondered for a while what might be up with me and after reading up on Aspergers and talking to dear friends, I've started to think this is me in so many ways. I go in for testing next month to find out for sure.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to good discussions.

Welcome vulcanpastor, good username. The Christians will be happy to have another ally on the board, we do have Religious discussions/arguments here frequently and the believers seem to be outnumbered. But on the whole, they stand their ground. My name is Russ but I don't use it on the forums. What sect are you with? I would lean towards Seventh Day Adventist if I gave up Atheism for Christianity. :D

Hi, Dennis. I'm glad you're here! It would be hard to pastor a church while having Asperger's. Oh oh! I know. There's a Lutheran church somewhere around here that sponsors a once a month autism kids game night. LAN party games. I keep trying to get my Asperger's son to start a group like that, but he has no interest. You could start a ministry like that. Or maybe an Asperger's support group.
OR... you could come with me to Rwanda this new years with www.comeandseeafrica.org. One of the things I so enjoy about being there is the Rwandans don't expect me to be like them, so I can squeal and clap about things that make me happy and they are simply happy with me. Theoretically, I'm going over there to minister, but in truth the Rwandans do a whole lot more for me. They have so much to teach us. Oh, I'd better stop before this turns into a long rant.
bye!
