Hi,
I was watching Inside the Actors Studio last night and saw Charlize Theron talking about how she chooses movies and her view on characters. It started me wondering if your life was deemed worthy of a movie, who would play you?? This can be anyone you want or an actor or actress that you identify with or just plain would do a good job. Please share with everyone!

PS: If my life were deemed worthy of a movie, I'd ask Charlize to play me. Though I don't know that she'd want to do it or not!

Oh, my life would not be worthy of a movie, unless you tossed in a bunch of movie cliches.

But still, I would play myself. No one else could, especially not someone NT and famous.

I would like to play myself if possible.I can't think of an actress that would paly me so I'll have to think about that and I'll come back when I do.

prob. scarlett johannson. actually, if gwen stefani acted (and if she'd be willing to be a brunette), i'd pick her. we have a great deal in common.

actually, I'd rather play myself! It would be easy for someone to play me, but I jsut think it would be fun, doncha think?

Lucille,
I love Gwen Stefani too. She's too cool! No Doubt is one of my favorite groups. But I also think Scarlett Johannson is great. I really thought she was excellent in Lost In Translation.

Yeah, Gwen is really cool. I've only recently noticed that I look a lot like her (except a more petite brunette version), I sound a lot like her when I sing, we have really similar backgrounds and interests, and I also love clothes and wanna start a clothing line!

Of course, I'm more mellow, but it's still really cool

What about you? you didn't even answer it hahaha

I'd rather they just make a movie of one of my stories, or a compilation of them. Seriously, most people just don't 'get' me, and wouldn't find me an interesting enough subject for a film. People have been ignoring and misinterpreting me my entire life. Though I'd like to see a movie version of my own life (for perspective and catharsis, not egotism), any movie that would be made would no doubt be by someone who has their own spin or misinterpretation, and they'd screw it all up.

I would want the film either to be animated or feature a no-name actor who disappears into the lead role.

Lucille,
Well, I'm back to answer your question as to if I would think it be fitting if I played myself. Everyone is unique so no matter how skilled the actor/actress is
they couldn't possible capture you 100% so in that case it wouldn't be bad to play yourself. I don't know if I'd want to relive every bad experience in my life. The good ones, yes, the bad ones? No!! But I realize that I'd hardly get to play myself!! !!

What are some of your favorite No Doubt tunes?? Which ones do you sing along to?

People who could play me in a movie:

Johnny Depp
Alan Rickman
Christian Bale
Viggo Mortensen
Hugo Weaving
Keanu Reeves
Bill Murray
Patrick Stewart (except for the fact that I'm not bald)
Ian McKellen (Except that I'm not that old)
The guy who played Frank in Donnie Darko
The guy who played the professor in Back to the Future.

The person who played me would have to be wise and a bit comical, but also dark, mysterious and disdainful. And handsome. The person playing me has to be handsome. Who would be the perfect actor for such a role?

Nice list, Yupa. ;) Mostly LotR/PotC/Matrix actors, eh? The amazing thing is that I've actually heard of most of those people... If my life were a movie (which it wouldn't be), I would hope to play myself. No one else, not even the top actresses in the world, can portray me as well as I can. :D

Interesting question to which I already know the answer :) But I think the essence of anyone's character can be played by a good actor who is interested enough to find the soul under the skin. Josh Hartnett is very different looking than me; taller and slimmer. But he captured the spirit of where I was at his age very well.

Probably Josh Hartnett. He seems to be the best actor close to my age group. Fist I have to do something interesting or worthwhile though. Actually, too bad Nicolas Cage would be too old for the part, he'd be even better.
