My name is Sam.
I was told the other day I may have mild aspergers by a college counciller.
So I decided I might attempt to communicate with others with this condition.
I'm obssesive about mucic, in particular eightys Post-Punk/New Wave bands.

I'm pedantic, I go off certain foods, I'm unempahtic, I'm self asorbed, I like things done my way, I tend to talk about my interests, I apparently never smile, I get told I don't look at people in the eyes enough apparently, I flinch alot, loud sounds make me jump, and I'm not sure.
I only told the counciler about akwardness around people who eat greasy foods with their hands.

Reading your description, I would be surprised if you didn't have Aspergers. You've definitely come to the right place.

This is the right planet.

Well I don't have a very formal routine (which I believe is typical of those with AS). I care alot about the things I'm interested in.
It's just I know three kids from my previous High School, and they were serverly odd.
For instance one kid, would yell at people who spoke to him and always used the same computer.
But I don't think I'm like that.
Im often say things that ofend others because, but I always think they shouldn't be offended.
Just because it's me, I believe people don't take me seriously.
I also told a friend of my mums who has two nephews who allegedly have aspergers and she says they're not very bright so I can't have it.
I also did well in drama, though if I was in play I didn't like I got annoyed and didn't learn my lines.
In a way I want to be told I have AS because Gary Numan, Bob Dylan and David Byrne supposadley have it.

When I was talking to my Dad he says when I was younger I used to tell people how to live.
He also went on about how much I talk about my self.

Oh I'm also dreadful at maths and numbers. Though that could be because this lady thinks I'm dyslexic. Even though I read well, despite my hand writting being flawed.

Welcome. One thing that you'll find out here is that not all Aspies are alike and we're as different as a lot of NTs (neuro-typicals) are. Don't worry about what other people think in regards to your AS. Enjoy your stay here.

Well I guess that was a bit unrealistic to expect that you could all introduce your selves.
But I can socialise well with people I want to get along with so, as long as I don't think your dreaful I'll endeavot to be polite and kind.

Well yes, you people seem to be my kind of people. For one you attempt to use punctuation and spell correctly. I'm pleased about that as I may not spell well but I try, and I don't like text speak.
