Hey,
My nicknames BarcodePG4G, but my real name is Barcode. (yeah, I know... its weird)
Just wanted to say hi! (In case you didn't get it, I will say it a second time: HI!)
I am an Australian guy who was diagnosed an aspie around 5 years ago.
I suppose I am unique, and kinda glad i am high functioning. Most don't notice I am an aspie, but I am. I have no problem with social interaction except the finer details i am a little sketchy on.
Oh, and I have the concentration of a pea when it comes to anything apart from the thing that is my fad, which usually lasts a few years before I move on without realising it.

do you like barcodes?? i find them interesting... especially this kind
that is I love blood pressure cuffs... encoded into a data matrix
whenever i get something UPS i use my webcam to take an image and decode the barcode

Hey, Barcode, is it too much to expect that you got diagnosed by Dr Tony Attwood himself? I'm a little sick of being the only guy here to have been diagnosed by him.

Nah, I didn't.
I was diagnosed by Professor Bruce Tonge at Monash Uni, in Clayton Melbourne

yep. I have one tattooed on my arm. Hidden personal meaning in code and all.
(I know, why not on the back of my neck or head, and the answer is because it would kill on the head, and the neck wouldn't be much better - all the nerve endings there.

because I am gonna get me original name (I was adopted) tattooed on my back in Hebrew. My original name was David, but my parents changed it, then I changed it to barcode, as that is what most called me, anyway (at first it was a slur, but they were suprised when I was cool with it.)
The barcode has a simple code denoting that my name was David and that I am a Christian and owned by God, so in my eyes has a lot to do with identity so I just legally changed it to that... Weird name, but kinda cool.
