Hi.

I guess I could say I'm a college student learning 3D CAD.

3D CAD is awesome once you stop banging your head in frustration over the learning of it.

I haven't really had much trouble with it once I learned one simple technique.
Using Autocad 2008 I use the polar option alot, so its basically hover mouse in direction and type how far and I can draw a line in that direction (saves time calculating angles, ids and stuff).

Hmm. I just realised I did a typo lol.
I put yello as the topic title, h and y are close together on the keyboard  8O

Hi, DarkOnister!

What you're doing sounds really cool. I'd like to think I would have gone into 3D CAD if I'd been born twenty years later.

I've learned most of the stuff in Autocad and I've also used 3DS Max.

The rest I'm doing by self learning on 3DS Max.
Trying to learn about the reactors and character making - It seems really interesting, my only reason for not getting far is that resources or tutorials are always scattered.

I seen tutorials about rigging the bones/biped to a mesh, the question is now is how to make that mesh.
Its a small target to actually make my own 3D character.

Its not really too much work, its more the keyskills that wastes so much time - Its like doing GCSE all over again.
I've only just finished all my CAD work for this year so its only keyskills work left.
I'd rather work on perfecting my driving for my practical test on Tuesday than keyskills on learning how to type
