Welcome Bryce,
I know what you mean regarding college:

I'm real good with computers but I'm horrible at college. I just don't see a point to learning something I already know and there's no courses with something I don't know. I'm also having a hard time looking for ANY job. Been looking for 2 years now
I did a degree in Information Science majoring in computing.
I didn't learn anything in computing but I did teach the college professors a lot of new tricks.
So.... don't do a course in computing.
My degree was on information systems, not just computers. It also included Psychology, Marketing, Statistics, Research Methods, Indexing and Categorisation techniques etc.. I learnt a fair bit in the non-computing areas.
If you were going to do a degree, I'd suggest you do something like that.
Also, I'd suggest you go part time so that you can do more computing in a work environment (and have money to spend).
What sort of computer systems job are you looking for: Development, Admin, Management, Helpdesk, Hardware?
Where are you looking ? Employment agencies?
What sorts of excuses are you getting from them regarding jobs?
