Hi everyone, My name is Rachel, I have a 12 year old son named Luke, who has autism. he is patially verbal, meaning he can make known his needs and wants but he cant actually tell me how he is feeling or what and when something is bothering him. I though that by joining up here and chatting with other people on the spectrum, you may be able to shed some light and help me to understand my son better.

Hi lukes_mum, one thing for sure, this site is GREAT to gain a better understanding (and a truly serene acceptance) of ASD's, you will certainly see things more clearly.

Only me a few partial verbals here on Wrongplanet, but hopefully we have some information for you. If only at the very least for some moral support.

I always feel happier when I see a father or mother on her taking the time to discover some information that might help their child be the best they can be.
