Hi Everyone!

My name is Shashie, and I have an 11 year old son with AS. He's in the 5th grade, smart as a whip, tells funny jokes, and is wicked handsome, just like his dad. :D He also has very few good friends in the neighborhood, is easily fooled by others, and is slowly learning about sarcasm. (oh, and he HATES fire drills, he wanted me to tell you that!) I'm hoping that by joining your community I can help find answers to things I question, and help all of us in our family ( I'll call my son M) to help M navigate through life and be happy. I'm also hoping that this can be a place I can send M to where he can meet people who think like he does, and to get questions he may have answered. I'll be checking things out first, and then later having M join us. I thank you all for your hospitality, and look forward to chatting with you soon!! !

Sincerely,

Shash

Welcome parentals! Feel free to send your kids here: we do our level best to keep this a child-friendly environment and there are a bunch of other kids who I am sure would love to find some new recruits!

Happy posting,

Kitten

Suilad to both of you! There should be some good information for parents of kids with AS, especially in the parent's forum. I hope you find the answers to any questions you're looking for here. :D

BeeBee is another parent of a PDDer. I'm sure she'd be a wealth of information for you, Shash. :D

Welcome!
