Hello.. I am new, 36 year old mom of 3.
My Youngest has PDD, my middle is an Aspie, and my daughter is NT.
I don't have a formal diagnosis yet but have been referred for the formal diagnosis. It was a hard decision to make only because currently I am in the military and didn't want anything to jeopardize my career.
I have always felt like I didn't belong. Only had a few freinds growing up (luckily b/c my boys don't have any)
I guess I figure that if I have the diagnosis that it may help me put all these pieces together, as well as helping me with teaching the kids social skills (mine are ok but it is very hard to maintain them)
Well.. thanks this is a nice site.

Hello and Welcome to WrongPlanet!

Good luck with your diagnosis, I'm half-way through the process of getting my formal dx - it's a tough thing to have to do - I'm doing it for similar reasons to yourself.

Make yourself at home. :)
