Another newbie here - Hi!

Hi there, a self-diagnosed newbie here. I never knew there were so many people like me in the world.

I'm 37, male and married with two kids. After hearing of AS and doing some research, I was amazed at how accurately the "symptoms" describe me. I've always preferred my own company to the company of others but I figured I was just wierd. I've been described as a stick-in-the-mud, and find parties and crowds intimidating. I've always had a hard time trying to be part of a conversation. People often tell me to "lighten up" and not take things so seriously.

Then I took an online test at http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php and scored a 136 - for whatever that's worth - and it said I'm most likely an Aspie.

I'm not sure what to think of all this yet, but I'm looking forward to learning more. For some reason, I found this post very difficult to write - I hope I didn't ramble on too much.

hey, whats up? diagnosed at 13 now 16, i im currently a sophmore in highschool and ive made lots of friends this year dispite the hard times i had growing up.im realy glad to be here and im sure we'll get along just fine once you know what my personality is like as soon as i start posting more often here. i hope to get the best out of being here and make friends and meet more people with the same interest.
