Now that I have read nearly all of the forum I am ready to say "Hello".

Hello! Image

I'm a graduate computational neural modeling student who was diagnosed with Asperger's in 1995 while undergoing treatment for combat induced PTSD. It was one of the best things that ever happened to me, as finally I received treament that worked after years of misdiagnosis.

I found your forum through an AP news article about William Freund, proving the old adage that there is no ill wind that does not blow some man good.*

Welcome! You sound like a pretty interesting gal! I hope you like it here at WrongPlanet.net. I'm interested in what you do for Computational Neural Modeling.

Thank you alex, other than being highly paid tech support for computer phobic neuroscientists, I am also responsible for developing tools for converting the mathematical data that is produced by MRI/PET/SPECT brain scanners into 2-D and 3-D images and performing statistical analysis of the data in the images.

Howdy oatwillie. Which border are you on?

I'm as far West as you can get and still be in Texas; the El Paso/Cd. Juarez/LasCruces Metroplex.

Ah! I know that part.

*snickers*

Metroplex. Are you are familiar with the Wink Sink, and the homemade bread in the little truckstop in Midland-Odessa?
