So hi I guess.

I'm Thornheart here on the internet. I can't say my real name, even my first name because it's really uncommon. I was diagnosed with AS about 2 months ago. My mom had her suspicions since I was young (she knew about AS from my uncle's son who has it) but only this year when I had basically one friend at school did it become abundantly clear.

Symptoms:
•Bad in most social situations
•Blathering on about what I like and boring everyone half to death
•Hyperlexia
•Picky eater
•My eye contact isn't the worst, but it's not great.

Related conditions:
•ADD
•GAD
•Depression

I like cats, video games (specifically the Ace Attorney/Phoenix Wright series and The World Ends with You), anime and manga (mostly shoujo (or girls)), Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I watch the soap operas One Life To Live and All My Children despite the fact that I'm 14.

Hi.

On the internet, talking to people who may well be on another continent, names are overrated.

And one friend isn't bad. There were times when I had one friend in school. Then there were the times when I had no friends -- that really sucks.

Hi Thornheart, Welcome to WP, don't worry about not using your real name, alot of us don't either, anyhow mine is Bob, which is very common, so you will have to give us a hint at what your name rhymes with.

Don't worry about having only one friend. I usually only have one or a few friends at any given time and sometimes none. You're better off stressing quality over quantity in friendships. Who needs a bunch of people around you who can't be counted on when times get rough? Besides, now you have over 20,000 people you can talk to!

hello. welcome welcome to the wonderful wp.

this place is crawling with people you can talk to...i've seen a few of them when they come out to eat. don't worry, they are all very nice people. and for a start i will offer you a gift basket full of hugs as a welcome gift.
