I have not yet been diagnosed. Sometime between October and January I will see a doctor and finally (I am 59 years of age) find out if I am an Aspie.

I am very curious to learn if anyone on this site play "The Sims", and if so how is it played. The reason for my inquiry is that I find myself playing the game the same way I lead my own life. Within the game it is important to have friends. The people in my game never have enough time with going to work, taking care of their personal needs to pick up a telephone to make a call.

So if you do play "The Sims" 1 or 2 please reply and let me know how you handle the game.

Thank you very much.

I am 17 and have undiagnosed AS. I love to play the Sims 1 and 2 and I too play the game like I lead my own life. I know it's important in the game to have friends, but it has never been important to me. I never get career promotions in the game. I have always found making friends incredibly diffcult and boring really.

I love the name Irene. That was going to be the name of my next girl, but I passed the age of adding any more kids and was having too much hell with one of the girls I adopted. I adopted so I could have a friend in my old age like I was with my mom. Yeah right.
