Okay, it's an old account but I've never introduced myself properly. And I haven't posted ever since... I don't remember!

I don't even remember what I posted... Oh well... Start again, uhmm. My name is Faye. 19. Philippines. Haven't been diagnosed as an Aspie, but was sent to a doctor in grade school to check if I was autistic....... It was negative, and therefore I had to spend the next 10 years in the normal world. But I am definitely not normal. I managed to get through just fine, until about 5 years ago. Had a lot of trouble in coping with school. Still no findings with doctors, though. Was (mis)diagnosed as depressed, since other diseases were ruled out. Has anyone else here have experience like this? Am not low-functioning, but not normal either.

I even doubt that I'm an aspie because I am not very talented at any one thing. I don't even have a hobby I can work on for hours. It bothers me sometimes, why can't I just be a full-ledged aspie and be special like that? Instead of getting lost in the crowd...

That's about it for today. I think I'll be back here, people seem nice. :D

Well, for some time I actually thought there was something WRONG with me. I guess we're just different. Me, special? I got no special talent whatsoever. Am just struggling with normal life right now. Everyone else has it so easy.

i know NT people who, in their own way, struggle more than i do. some people just waist too much of their energy on trying to solve unsolvable problems. they just cannot recognize which ones are solvable and which not. and even if they do, it takes them more time to get used to the consequencies than us. there are advantages to everything.

I see you're a veteran here... You seem smart. Aspie?

I try unsolvable problems myself, get really frustrated, and quit. I don't consider that a good thing anymore. Patience is a virtue after all.

no, not smart, just 10 years older than you... we all are on the way, we cannot have everything right away. :)

Hi! Yeah. Uniqueness is fine, until I can't get along anymore... *sigh*
