my life changed a lot

Dear 'fellow WrongPlaneteers',
for long time now I planned on writing you about what was happening with my life and why I haven't showed up for several months. I guess only very few will still have a glimpse on who I am. Well, although I am originally from Slovakia, right after completing my masters there, I had moved to Lisbon (Portugal) to do my PhD. By the beginning of December last year I had delivered the thesis for evaluation and by the end of April this year I have moved to Paris (France) to do my first postdoc. In July I had to fly back to Lisbon to defend the thesis, finally. It was great success, all the members of the jury were actually excited about my work. So I became doctor of engineering sciences; and since this first postdoc position is limited for one year, I am already looking for another one. One at the university of cape town (South Africa) looks good. It was a lot of changes in my life, but I like it, my life in Portugal became quite boring already, it was endless like childhood itself. It is a lonely life, but whose isn't?
So here I am, glad being finally back on wrongplanet.
