Just kidding about the subject. I've been lurking for a bit, so I thought it was time to step into the light.
I'm a 35 yr old aspie male married to an extremely patient, caring, and indescribably nice wife with a heart the size of Borneo. We met in grad school and got our mutual PhD's in Biology while there. We are both working in Cancer cell biology for SUNY Albany. I love my job, but that doesn't mean it isn't without its stresses, and it doesn't mean I don't have to work hard at times. What I love about it is that it keeps the gears in my head turning. I don't 'zone-out' while flipping burgers or jockeying a cash register. Time never goes slow at work - I get in in the morning, get my geek on, and before I know it, it's lunch time. I need my brain for my job, and for that, I am very grateful.
It's nice to find somewhere that has people I can identify with. I have been recently diagnosed.
I've been doing a LOT of reading on this board recently, and it's made me feel a lot better about myself and the way I am. It's brought me some measure of peace. Thank you.
