Well, I've technically risen in the ranks, but I've gone from a pretty big dromaeosaurid (as far as raptors go) to a smaller dromaeosaurid. Seriously, can anyone explain to me why it is that "Velociraptor" ranks above "Deinonychus"? I mean, velociraptor was a mean little SOB who could dish it out, but not take it. Observe:

Octopi can open doors. Velociraptors can't.

Oh god, you're right. I used to work in a movie theatre. It was darkly comical how many overwieght customers would request a DIET soda while ordering buttered (often with a request for layered buttering) popcorn. As if that will make a difference.

Umm... I was referring to Jurassic Park. Also, note the laugh. It was a joke.

Sounds like you two might need to go out to the back yard, catch yourselves a Velociraptor, and put this theory to the test. If Steven Spielberg is wrong I guess that could be worth a lot of free DVD's if you play it off right

Velociraptors can't open doors? Are you absoutely sure? What about that fossil of the Velociraptor hooking it claw onto a door in mid-swing when a mudslide hit?

Prove to me that a Velociraptor could not open doors. I'm still Deinonychus so you have to do what I say.

And we all know Jurassic Park is completely accurate about raptors, right?

Proving that velociraptors could not open doors is quite simple. Ignoring the fact that they were likely no smarter than ostriches or birds of prey at most, they would simply be too short to reach most human door knobs! Now Deinonychus on the other hand . . .

Reminds me of those people that buy Slimfast and twinkies at the grocery store I work at. I try to bag combinations like those together just so people can see how stupid they are. Beef jerky and diet pills, anybody?

a. It might be for their kids of something (either item) and b. if you portion control you CAN have Twinkies on a diet!
