My name is Jeffrey. You can call me Jeff. I am a student at Harper College studying Mathematics. Most of the time I'm reserved and aloof around people. I've been told that I have a dry sense of humor; most of the time I am the only one who laughs at my jokes or sarcasms. I am not much of a practical joker, but more of a theoretical joker **chuckle** ^_^.

I have Asperger's Syndrome. So if you notice anything strange about me, that is why. I also have OCD, or rather, I used to have OCD, but now I am just OC.

I enjoy going to libraries (especially university libraries), bookstores, museums, coffee shops, and spending quality time with my family. I also like to play video-games from time to time.

I have an obsession with gaining knowledge about fascinating topics like philosophy, history, geography, mathematics, physics, psychology, and anthropology. Learning new languages is fun, too. Someday I want to learn classical languages like Latin and Greek, as well as study Latin and Greek culture and literature. I also like to do freelance writing from time to time.

I am generally an open person and I wouldn't mind talking to anybody as long as they are respectful. I am looking forward to meeting new people on this site who share some of the same experiences with me.

Take care and have a great day! :D

Welcome.

I've done a little philosophy at college. I find is facinating as long as it can be applied- not keen on certain types of philosophy that don't seem to go anywhere or be applied to other subjects.

I do like Latin- although I know little about it, I'd rather learn Middle English, some sort of Indonesian or a Celtic Language- not sure why but I do like the phonology of those languages. *shrugs*

Hope you find what you're looking for here and stick around. xD

Hi Abstract Logic and welcome to the wrongplanet. I can remember when I was in college I used to spend a lot of my free time in the library researching whatever it was that was interesting me at the time. Your interests are definitely interesting ones and I have done more than my share engaged in research with them.

Writing is one of my passions. Though I am currently working on a novel (with a science fiction twist blended in with some actual historical elements from American history) I usually like to read non-fiction. I also like to write poetry.

The history I enjoy involves mysterious cultures of the world including America's prehistoric Adena and Hopewell Indian cultures---The Mound Builders.

I have a multitude of interests, as it sounds like you do too. I was diagnosed with Asperger's recently. I hope this website is fun for you. I have found it fulfilling so far. Feel free to communicate with me if you wish, as I am sure we have some interests in common.
