Hi! My name is Holly. I am Mommy to Max.

Max was diagnosed 5 years ago with Asperger's and has recently had the diagnosis re-done. There were no questions in my mind, but the DOD schools wanted to do their own evaluation.

I'm actually quite pleased with the schools as they seem so much more willing to help and understand than any public school ever has for Max.

The difference now is that MAX is finally learning about his diagnosis. I had avoided that for years because I didn't want him to make excuses. However, I think he's old enough now to try to understand and accept who he is.

He is an amazing kid and our world would not be what it is without him in it.

I have two other children. His older sister, Morgan and his older brother, Madison. Max helps Madison with his math homework and Madison tries to help other kids understand or at the very least, tolerate Max.

So, that's about all I can think to post. Ask questions. I do better when asked than when just trying to think of things.
