To all:

Hello! I've been trolling the forums here for about a week now and thought I would finally register. I'm not formally diagnosed with Aspergers, though I have most of the symptoms (I scored a 170/200 for AS on the Aspie-quiz). AS was introduced to me about a year ago by a couple of friends who independently came to their own conclusion that something was wrong and Aspergers kind of explains everything. To tell you the truth, I thought I was alone in the way I thought, and was actually pissed that my friends dared to suggest I had some type of "disorder". Right now I am a little mad at myself for taking so long to look into it however. As of last spring I was kicked out of university for poor grades and things subsequently "went to hell" with everyone who I considered to be a friend. I couldn't find a job, couldn't pay rent, and didn't really "do" anything for quite a while. Most of my days since have been spent at my parents house reading classics and writing whatever comes to mind. About a week ago I saw something on the TV about autism and AS (which I'd completely forgotten about) and decided to look into it a bit more. Previously the only info I had was from the Wikipedia article and whatever symptoms my friends had described a year ago. Needless to say, there is a lot more to it than just being a "disorder" and most of the real world info about AS I've gotten from this site. I see a bit of myself in every post here and don't feel as alone in this world as I once did. I hope to share some of my experiences here and learn a bit more about what it is we share in common.

welcome, i suppose you've been lurking, not trolling - that would require a least a plural number of posts, as a single trolly post would most likely be taken for your typical aspie bluntness - to which some will respond with amused appreciation, and some with positive suggestions purtaining to one's conduct on an aspie support site

i belong to the first group, i like banter

welcome home: sit back and enjoy - you're in for a quite a new adventure: this is your life, emroidious

Yes, I suppose lurking is a better description of what I was up to. I'm not very up to date with the whole forum etiquette, this will be the first one I've ever joined. Feel free to correct me on anything, as I know nothing.

Ah I thought Baloo was this:

Look very similar but size and claws could give it away.

Well, the Asian Black Bear doesn't reside in India, where the Junglebook takes place. :)
