i will play cricket again, one day, but my team had one guy so totally stereotypically aspie-dyspractic in demeanor
(cant believe in retrospect he's never been identified)

(noone knows about autism in the team; i did not know until exactly 1 year ago yesterday)

my captain and i used to have to hide him in places least likely to yield catching chances,
those flayling arms, that sitter that just ain't gonna happen mate, have to bowl at the stumps in this team

and he insisted in being moved up the batting order (which occasionally happened for appeasement)
sort of from 10 to 8 at best (or, best solution: nr. 2, me nr. 3 ready to come in third ball and start opening

and he insisted upon bowling, which was worrying as he did get wickets
with totally unmoving donkey drops, that were apologetic really, should've been No Balled for at least esthetic reasoning

i once had to give a victim of his out lbw, after ball bounced-rolled straight on, missed,
later realized should have been Not Out - as the ball had never been likely to reach leg stump at all

the victim never played cricket again (good cricketer, experienced vet - this is true! oh aspie rules, in absurdity)

all sorts of excellent aspie jobs in a cricket match thought, and that includes HUGE possibilities for the dyspractic
