Call me Heidi. Not Belladonna.

I am an Aspie. I was diagnosed during some psychiatirc evaluations when I was 18 from a court order. I have always been different in that I am slow to speak or I can talk alot. I am way too detailed and I can bore most people away from a conversation. People can be standing there having a conversation and i will join in. With in minutes or seconds everyone will walk away. :roll:

So communication social skills is something i would like to continue to develop. WP gives me a good oppurtunity to this because i can express myself with out people getting frustrated of me missing the social cues. I seek to feel like I belong. I enjoy being with being with like-minded people on WP and knowing your stories as a person with AS or ASD.

I have always been the odd one out in my family, at school and in general. It has greatly affected my self-image; to feel rejected and never understanding why. I am happy to be dx with AS because it has helped me to realise that I am not such unlovable person and rather it is because I have communication deficits and/or a different way of thinking.
