Hello,
I've recently joined; having scouted around a few threads and posts I thought it was getting a bit rude not introducing myself.
I haven't been diagnosed with an ASD but I am convinced that I will be told I have Asperger's fairly soon, either by the Psychiatrist I'm due to be assessed by or someone she/he refers me too. Also had a lot of depression (hence the psych), which I understand is fairly commonplace with ASD's, probably from about the age of 8 or 9.
Past obsessions/interests have ranged from combat aircraft (particularly late Soviet, US models from 1960's on) to the Civil Rights movement (Malcolm X mainly), from Roman Warfare (inspired by Gladiator) to Dinosaurs and from Pyschiatry to American (U.S.) Wars and Warfare. Recently moved onto getting to grips with Quantum Mechanics, a truly fractal source of learning, and Postmodernism.
Not entirely sure what else to write so I shall leave it there.

One of my interests at the moment is seeing how many references to ancient Rome/Greece
I can find in everyday life.Things like a local amateur football club calling itself Minerva
