new & not sure

Hi there,

A couple of days ago I read about AS and from what I read I might have it, though I'm not sure. At the very least I don't know how to 'chat' with anyone (though seriously talking about a subject is less of a problem provided I know something about it), can't speak with more than 1 person at a time because then I get utterly confused, don't have many friends, don't have a relationship, spend hours per day on a bizar hobby. Is that enough?

And secondarily a question to myself: is it a problem? The answer is yes it is a problem because I would like to have more friends or even a relationship. I can perfectly entertain myself - yet I feel lonely. Does this contradict AS or do you feel the same?

if you are not sure, just hang around and see if you can relate to some of the threads that are specific to AS and how poeple live with it and experience the world.
